Heads up Display
Wed Aug 15, 2018 10:33 am
An HUD (heads up display) is a transparent, graphical dashboard that displays on top of everything else.
HUDs usually display statistics. Think of the dashboard on your car, the on that displays how fast your car is going, how much gas you have left, your engine's temperature, etc.
HUDs do not follow the camera
One aspect of HUDs that's unique is that they don't follow the camera. They always draw at the same place on screen, regardless of whereyou are. Think of them as being this piece of glass that's on top of the game but not part of the game itself.
How can an actor stay at the same place of the scene?
Anchor block
The ability to anchor an actor to the screen was made specifically for creating HUDs. As the name suggests, anchoring an actor makes the actor ignore the
camera, so it always is drawn at the same place on screen.

Or you can check also the behaviors or events that you are using. If they are too big, might as well lessen those because they might cause lags to your stencyl. I hope it will help!12 wrote:Or maybe the resolution of your game, is it too big?12 wrote:Are the actors or objects that you are importing have a huge size?thenextavenger wrote:why my stencil always lag?

Or there's this crash that displays that "You already used 90%...." something like that. Why is that happening?

No, I don't think so. Because I used to resize it before importing it to Stencyl.12 wrote:Are the actors or objects that you are importing have a huge size?thenextavenger wrote:why my stencil always lag?

I searched a solution on that and this might work to you. You need to create a .txt file then save it along to your stencyl works. Go to this link -> community.stencyl.com/index.php?topic=22071.0 and try it for yourself. Hope it helps!Jungkook wrote:Or there's this crash that displays that "You already used 90%...." something like that. Why is that happening?

The software is available for free, with select publishing options available for purchase.

Yes it is. Actually, this feature acts like an add-ons to Stencyl.cap_je wrote:Is this free?
